Everyone works in sales. However, each person’s work style and sense of fulfillment are slightly different. Three sales members who joined the company in different years talked about the fun of working at Nihonkai Ka, how they experienced growth, and their future career plans.

Our sales operations are characterized by not just selling products, but also being involved in everything from purchasing to delivery. I interact with Chinese suppliers, find and propose products that suit the customer, and am in charge of everything from contracting to delivery.

I mainly work with existing customers, proposing products, adjusting delivery dates, and responding to inquiries. I like to build relationships over time, and I find it rewarding when I feel like I’ve gained someone’s trust.

I’m in my third year, and I’m mainly gaining experience by supporting my seniors. A lot of my work involves arranging deliveries and preparing documents, but recently I’ve gradually been able to be entrusted with customer support as well.

Mr. K, you have become much more reliable than when you first started. You can also feel confident in checking your documents.

After all, the fun part of this job is being able to interact directly with customers. I think the best part of this job is being able to feel the relationship of trust deepening little by little with each conversation.

I felt like I was running my own business when I searched for suppliers from scratch to meet the customer’s needs, made proposals, and even delivered the product.

When a customer told me, “I would like to hire Mr. C,” I felt that they trusted me, and I was very happy.
K.K.
At first, I always asked my seniors about everything I did, but lately I’ve been thinking more and more that I might be able to make decisions on my own, and that has given me a lot of confidence.

At first, I was in a state where I didn’t even know what I didn’t understand.
K.T.
However, you can rest assured that we have a solid follow-up system. I am grateful that if I tell them that I would like to try it, they will leave it to me.

It really gives me a sense of security that I am being watched closely.

If you wish, I think this is a company where you can take on a wide range of tasks, such as developing new business partners and proposing new products.

Initially, your focus will be on route sales, but as you gain experience, you can become involved in projects and management, and there are many different career paths depending on the person.
K.K.
I’m still in the early stages, but little by little I’m being given more responsibilities, and I get motivated when people say, “Next time, please do this.”

I think our company is an environment where you can build your career at your own pace, as it really adjusts to the speed of each individual’s growth.

I think this is a great fit for people who are interested in international work, especially those interested in trade and business with China. It’s perfect for people who are interested in trade and business, as you can handle everything from purchasing to proposal to delivery by yourself. You can put your language skills to good use, and if you’re willing to take on a challenge, you’ll definitely find it rewarding.

I agree. Plus, it’s a really friendly atmosphere. Everyone is kind and it’s an environment where it’s easy to talk to each other. When I’m working, I’m very serious, but usually there’s a sense of distance that allows us to joke around with each other, which makes me feel very comfortable.

I was worried at first, but now I can work with great peace of mind. The seniors provide careful support, and there is a good system for maternity and childcare leave, so it is recommended for people who want to work for a long time.

There is very little overtime, so I think the work-life balance is very good. Everyone is nervous at first, but we started out the same way, so we want you to jump in with confidence.
