Calcium Chloride
calcium chloride chemical formula : CaCl₂
Which is widely used as a road de-icing agent and anti-freezing agent. It is suitable for ensuring winter traffic safety in cold regions. It has strong hygroscopicity and can continuously absorb moisture from the air to gradually melt solid snow. Moreover, it is used in various industrial fields such as cooling tower circulating water treatment, drying agents, dust suppressants, and concrete anti-freezing agents. There are three types: granular, bead-like, and flake-like. We also offer compound de-icing salts with corrosion inhibitors to reduce the corrosion risk to the pavement and vehicle chassis.
Characteristics of Calcium Chloride
With a powerful heat dissipation effect, ice and snow can be instantly melted. It can also cope with extremely cold environments of -30℃. Moreover, the saturated solution of calcium chloride does not freeze even down to -54℃.

Calcium Chloride Properties and Applications
■ Hygroscopicity & Heat Generation: It absorbs moisture and generates intense heat, thus possessing excellent immediate effectiveness in rapidly melting ice.
■ Dust & Frost Prevention: Utilizing its high hygroscopicity, it is also active as a dust prevention (dust-proof) measure on grass fields and unpaved roads in summer.
■ Applications: Steep slopes, intersections, snow melting for railways, and dust prevention for sports fields and roads.
